Details - Centenary home shirt as worn when Cagliari were trying to avoid relegation from Serie A in their fifth consecutive seaason in the division. The team started well in the first quarter of the season, but a run which saw Cagliari go on a 16 game winless run meant that manager Eusebio Di Francesco was sacked as manager with the team in the relegation zone. Di Francesco was replaced by Leondardo Semplici with a third of the season remaining and results for Cagliari improved as the team won 4 of their final 8 games to finish in 16th place in Serie A and remain in the division for antoher season. The shirt which was released for the clubs centenary season features white sleeves for the first time in the clubs history and also has gold badges to the front of the shirt to represent the centenary year.
