Also worn when the team won the FIFA Club World Cup, beating Tigres UANL 1-0 in the final. The team however could not repeat as European champions after being knocked out in the quarter finals of the Champions League by Paris Saint Germain on away goals after the tie finished 3-3 on aggregate.
