Details - Limited edition shirt released in the season when Manchester United got off to a poor start in the Premier League, leading to the sacking of Jose Mourinho with club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replacing him as manager. Solskjaer led Manchester United to 6th place finish in the Premier League and also saw the club knocked out in the quarter finals of the Champions League after losing 4-0 on aggregate against Barcelona. This 1968 Special Edition Jersey celebrates 50 years since the Red Devils became the first English club to win the European Cup. At Wembley Stadium on the 29th May 1968, Man Utd beat Benfica 4-1 after extra-time to lift the trophy.
