The shirt was also used during Tottenham's 4-3 loss to Inter when Gareth Bale famously scored a hat-trick at San Siro. A Peter Crouch goal in the Round of 16 was enough to see Spurs knock AC Milan out of the competition and progress to the quarter-finals where they were eventually eliminated from the competition by Real Madrid.
