Home shirt as worn when Ajax finished as runners up in the Eredivisie, finishing 3 points behind champions PSV Eindhoven. However, they did not qualify for the Champions after losing 2-1 against FC Twente in the play offs. Also worn when Ajax were knocked out in the first round of the UEFA Cup, losing on away goals against Dinamo Zagreb after the tie finished 3-3 on aggregate.
