Details - Track top as worn when Jupp Heynckes took over as Real Madrid manager, failing to defend their La Liga title from the previous season, finishing 4th in the league. However, the club did manage to win their 7th European title, beating Juventus 1-0 in the Champions League final with Predrag Mijatovic scoring the only goal of the game. The club's European triumph was not enough to save Heynckes from the sack at the end of the season after a poor domestic campaign.
